Adult Children Sketch Comedy
When cities across the country began to shut down, my older brother, Andrew, and I had to leave our homes in Austin and Los Angeles to move back in with our parents in San Antonio.
I am (typically) an LA-based actress and playwright, and my brother is a PhD student at the University of Texas. During his time there, he performed with an on-campus improv team, and has continued studying comedy and improv at The Hideout Theatre in Austin.
To keep ourselves sane – and share some laughter while in lockdown – we created the online sketch comedy channel Adult Children. Under this name, we release short, digestible sketches that take a light-hearted look at the troubles of quarantine. We chronicle the funny, frustrating, and factual tribulations that occur when two grown siblings move back home because of a global pandemic.
